The Future of 2040
We should create an organization that reaches out to people with occupations like researchers and environmental scientists. They could help spread awareness by gathering information and statistics about how pollution has been effecting the environment recently and what we can do to help. The organization could then create ads, discussions, service projects, and other social events. They can have a new ad and new information presented every 5 years so everybody will know whether what we have been doing is working or what we can do to improve the quality. In the mean time, to help the environment, we can try and have a specific amount of time where disposable plastics and other polluting products can not be sold. For example, In the month of June, or a week in June, they can take all the plastic bags and replace them with paper or they could take all the plastic water bottles off the shelf and replace them with metal and glass bottles. Every 5 years we could also change the pollution standards. For example, we can decrease the amount of pollution an engine is allowed to output each years and as 5 years go by lower to amount it can put out for the next 5 years.
