My name is Kaira Wolfe and I am from Winnebago, NE. I live and work in Winnebago, NE. I have been a teacher assistant since 2008 working with children from 0-5 year olds. I worked both at a Head Start and a day care. I am currently at an Educare where we work with children from 0-3 and then the children go to the head start rooms for two years. I have had my children in my classroom since they were 6-12 weeks old and now they are 2 turning 3. So this is my first class that I will be with my children from birth to 3. I believe I am a very creative teacher and I love learning new things that I can use in my classroom.
Along with my students at school, I am also a mother to three beautiful children and one on the way. I am expected to deliver around September 24th with a new baby girl. I have a 4 year old step daughter and 3 year old twin boys. My family also participates in our culture of dancing, Pow-Wow dancing. We go to Pow-Wow’s almost every weekend, if not every other weekend. My boyfriend and I create and make our families’ dancing outfits, or “regalia” to be exact. We are a very busy family, but we are always doing fun activities with our children. I love my children at school and I absolutely love my family. I am very busy with school, work and my family but I give it my all every day. I am determined to finish school and be a good role model for my students and my children.

I want to be the Educator that the children look up to for answers
I also want to be the loving and caring teacher that the children need.
My goals as a future educator:
I want my classroom to be creative, supportive and child-initiative.
10 years from now
In ten years from now I see myself doing exactly what I want to do, be a successful experienced teacher. I want to continue doing what I love, teaching young children. I would want a couple years experience in older grades just to compare and see what kind of potential I have as an educator. However I see myself staying in the early childhood field because I can relate more to the younger children. Even though my own children will be all older than ten years, I believe they will always be a motivation for me as an educator. I have so much fun with the younger children that I hope the next ten years will be like my past ten years!
