What is the Goal of Our Trip?
We want to have long term relationships with the church we connect to
We want to evangelize, serve and love the community we connect to
We want to bring teams from CP there twice a year, spring and fall, to continue to serve
What Ministries Will We Do?
Ministries will be determined by the needs of the host pastor and the desires of the team. On each application, questions are asked about what strengths & interests each person has. This will play a role in putting teams together to build the strongest teams possible. All teams on the trip will work together to build an itinerary customized to your group's gifts.
SATURDAY: Arrive late afternoon, travel to local church, settle in for night
SUNDAY: Attend service with host church, fellowship with them for the day
THURSDAY: Serving in am, lunch and exploring for the rest of the day
FRIDAY: Leave for PEI
What Are The Sleeping Arrangements?
Teams that select a trip with floor sleeping accommodations will sleep in a church, school, or community center. They will be divided by gender, and men's and women's rest rooms/showers will be available.
The option to sleep in a hotel is there, however this is an additional cost. As a team, we can make that decision. Typically we would sleep 3-5 people per room, with two people per double bed and individuals sleeping in single beds. All rooms are designated either male or female.
What About Bathing & Eating?
All people will have the availability to shower during the course of the trip. Typically church's will have facilities for us where we stay.
While serving in your host community, a variety of meals will be offered, from local cuisine to typical American style food. The PPM cook teams are trained, highly skilled and are able to adapt to special dietary needs (gluten free, vegetarian, lactose intolerant etc)!
What Are My Costs?
Registration fee - $55.00. Due upon application.
Lodging, ground transportation, ministry prep, all meals- $800.00
Airfare - $1000.00 (ballpark). Once we have 10+ ppl, we will receive a group booking rate on airfare that could reduce this considerably.
Our goal is to raise 50% or more of the cost of the trip per person
During our meetings, we will collaborate on fund raising ideas
We plan to have many team fundraising events between March-Oct
We will help with ideas, materials, promo items, letters of support
PPM also offers support/help with materials and ideas
We can fund raise as a team as well as individually

Why Do I Pay A Registration Fee?
The $55.00 registration fee covers our registration fee with Praying Pelican Missions. As we hope to have approx 12 people on each team, the registration fee with PPM is divided by 12 and that equals $55.00. This is why if you are not chosen for this trip, your registrations fee can be returned to you.
