We should care because without specific animals there will be less grassland because when they die there will be nothing to stop the forests from over taking it. We should also care because they make water wholes when the hot season comes and without them more animals will go extinct due to dehydration
How does this affect us?
This affects us because without specific animals we wouldn't have grasslands to grow crops. Also without them their will be a damage in the food chain for other animals and then they will go extinct(ex. lions and tigers)
What other animals are poached ?
Elephants,Rhinos and Pangolins aren't the only animals being poached there are also Tigers,Sea turtles,Gorillas, Bears and Lemurs
What is going on?
These graphs show how many Elephants, Rhinos, and Pangolins are poached some starting off with 2012 up to the most recent time
What can we see here ?
We can see that from these three graphs the numbers for Rhinos getting poached is higher than the numbers for Elephants or Pangolins
What can we do to stop this?
We can create laws saying no poaching in this state, help organizations that are trying to reach the same goals as you, people can make small habitats for those animals who are close to extinction because of poaching. Don't be afraid and do something about it.
