Simone Biles was born on March 14, 1997 in Columbus, Ohio.

Simone Biles started gymnastics when she was 6 years old!
She started competing as a level 8 gymnast in 2007.
By 2011, she took her standing at an junior elite level.
Also in 2011, she got first place in beam and vault and 3rd all around at the American Classic.
She won the vault and the all-around events at the American Classic, the Alamo Classic, the Houston National Invitational and the Secret U.S. Classic.
In 2013, Simone proved herself a champion again when she won all around at the US P&G Championships
Also that year, she became the first female African-American athlete to win gold in the all-around
Won US and world titles in the all around competition, also won gold in the Secret US Classic.
Simone executed a double-layout with a half twist; which became known as her signature move.
She became the first woman to win her third consecutive world all-around title, giving her a record 10 gold medals at the international competition.
She earned her spot on the US Olympic Team with her 4 other teammates.
At the Olympic Games in Rio, Simone led the team to win gold.
After winning gold in Rio, these 5 gymnasts called themselves the "Final Five"
In 2017, she joined the cast of the 24th season of "Dancing with the Stars".
