A study with 23 schools over 3 years reported the following:
Students with disabilities became more motivated and self-regulated learners.
Many other low- achieving students displayed evidence of learning and academic growth.
Social skills improved as well as peer relationships.
Teachers reported co-teaching as a high leverage program with consistent support.
