Director, Patient Care
Candie has been an incredible nurse and now nurse leader with Elkhart General Hospital for the past 9 years-- spending time in the OR and Critical Care. She brings to the table fresh ideas and tireless work ethic. Candie takes great pride in her team and values their ability to remain cohesive through the most difficult of circumstances. She believes in transparency, trust, respect, teamwork and honesty. In her words, "I wouldn't ask my team to do anything I wouldn't do myself. I try to be fair, honest and consistently present for my team." Candie loves music; the last song she listened to in her car was Don't Treat Me Bad by Firehouse. She's also a self-proclaimed movie buff who believes she can relate any song to a movie. Candie also loves spending time with family, her fur baby (pictured) and would someday like to travel to Ireland.
