What TSA does is it improves the communication, leadership, and competitive skills in the environment of a classroom. This mainly focuses on technological skills and it provides you with co-curricular activities that introduce you to technological education programs. TSA believes that putting students into competitive events will make students learn to the best. They also believe that its an excellent motivation tool in the academic environment. This has connections with career clusters and suggested careers for all featured events. For all the levels of the competition you may choose to adapt to national guidelines for state level competition. The guide is a complement to curricular activities in the classroom.
Students are given a task to work on in community service and then later create a video for a project on what you did when you were participating in community service. They should have the same concept of when their going to a competition. They also do awards for the community services also. All contributions raised from July 1 to June 1, each year will be tallied and counted towards this goal.
In order to apply to be a TSA , you must first hold a few requirements. TSA students must have at the very least a high school diploma or GED. There is no age restriction to apply for TSA . However, family members ages 12 and under traveling with an eligibleparent or guardian with a TSA Pre- indicator on their boarding pass can participate in expedited screening. But they are all different due to the career cluster you choose.
