House of Jonathans is a mock reality game show where 15 contestants, all named Jonathan, are confined to the same house and compete for the grand prize of $250 as well as the honor of being crowned the one true Jonathan.
House Of Jonathans is a satirization of the reality television shows of today. It borrows a lot of tropes from shows like The Bachelor, Survivor, and Big Brother.
At the start of the season, the Jonathans are split up into two teams: Team Jonathan and Team Jonathan.
Each episode there is an immunity challenge. The losing team is sent to the Council Of Jonathans.
Once the game dwindles down to 5 people, the teams merge and the competition becomes a free for all.
The last 2 Jonathans standing will compete in a final Challenge which will determine who wins the game.
Returning for his second season, Johnny Quick Feet is looking for redemption after almost winning it all in his first. Johnny is an arrogant, highly strategic player who relies on his ability to think several moves ahead to progress in the game. What he has in strategy, he lacks in social skills, so he struggles to form relationships as a result. This proved to be his downfall in his original season when he was voted out right before the final two.
House Of Jonathans is based off of my first hand experience with reality television. From competing on American Ninja Warrior to working for Ru Pauls Drag race, I have seen Reality TV for what it really is, and I plan on bringing my experiences to the small screen.
