The Causes of The First World War

Triple alliance was made up of Germany, Austria-Hungary, and Italy.
Aims to minimize the increase in military spending, but nations were not able to come to an agreement.
Britain, France, and Russia were formed
The second naval law is passed in Germany.
The Schlieffen Plan is proposed for Germany to fight on French/Russian fronts. The Moroccan crisis breaks out.
Austria-Hungary took advantage of the Balkans and added Bosnia to is's empire.
Kaiser Wilhelm interfered again with Morocco. Moroccan rebels attacked the town of Fez. The Sultan asked the French for help, who helped by sending a french army.
Between these years, Balkan wars break out. Serbia doubled in it's size so they were more determined.
June 28, Archduke Ferdinand was assassinated and also his wife.
July 30th,Russia supports Serbia
July 5, Germany reassures Austria- Hungary for their support.
July 31, Germany demands France to remain neutral or risk having a war declared with them.
Auguest 4, Britain kept it's promised to protect Belgium and declared war on Germany.
