The Edo period was the last traditional period in Japan before the restoration. The capital in Japan during this time was Kyoto. The Edo period saw large economic growth. Agriculture was very important during the Edo period. The event was significant because it is the start of a new period of japan, that sees many improving changes to japan. The start of the Edo period would also put an end to many wars. The event was unifying for this country because the Tokugawa shogunate made sure the country was stable.
EDO PERIOD BEGINS
After the Emperor's power is restored, the samurai began to realize they were losing power. The samurai were not happy by this. The samurai thought themselves as the prime protectors of Japan from it's enemies. Led by Saigo Takamori, the army of samurai rebels were no match for the Meiji government. The army of rebels consisted of 20,000 units. The imperial army consisted of around the double the size of the samurai army. Saigo underestimated the imperial army and thought it was made out of peasants. The samurai ended up losing the battle with the imperial army. This event was significant because Saigo was known as the last samurai. It was also significant because it shows that the power of the samurai was no more. This event was dividing for japan because it caused the samurais and imperials to go on opposing sides in the country.
THE SATSUMA REBELLION
The Meiji constitution was created to be more similar to the western constitutions. The constitution would help transform japan into a more industrialized country. It would also make the Japanese military much more powerful. For example, all males were required to serve in the military.The constitution would also give more power to the Emperor.For example, the samurai began to lose power which would go to the emperor. This event was was unifying for japan because it had established many laws and principles that would further unify japan.
The Mexican bandit, Pancho villa supporter of the late, Francisco Madero was angered.This was because the U.S had betrayed him by supporting Carranza, enemy of Villa. IN response to this betrayal, Villa's supporters attack a train killing 17 Americans. Villa Himself attacks Columbus,New Mexico. This event was significant because it showed Villa's ruthlessness. This event was also significant because of the U.S's reaction to the attack, which was the sending of a search party of 10,000 troops to find Villa, he was not found. This event was again dividing for Mexico, as there was opposing sides between the constitutionilists(Carranza supporters) and the peasants(villa supporters).
1916,MEXICO , VILLA"S REVENGE
After Huerta, and Carranza are defeated by the forces of Obregon,Alvaro Obregon is elected. Obregon helps stabilize the country. Obregon does this by ending the civil wars that were caused by Diaz's dictatorship. Obregon also helped further support the newly created Mexican Constitution. This event was significant because it helped stabilize Mexico. This event was also significant because it ended most of the violence in Mexico. This event was unifying for Mexico because it helped bring peace to Mexico and end the many wars.

After the Empire of Prussia invades Austria, many resources are found. These new resources found in Austria immensely benefit Prussia. The economy of Prussia is boosted by the finds in Austria. This event was significant because it would help lay the foundation for unification of Germany, with these new resources found, making Prussia very powerful. Another reason, this event is significant is because it would help show Prussia's dominance. This event was unifying because it helped other German states realize that unifying might be a good option.
1870 GERMANY, TREATY OF FRANKFURT
1815, GERMANY, ECONOMY BOOM
After being invaded numerous times by the Prussians, the Austrians don't budge.The Austrians wanted to counteract the Prussian forces by strengthening their power. Bismark noticed this, and built an army to go against Austria, and other German states. This Event was significant because it helped show Bismark's military tactics. This event was also significant because it showed Prussia's seriousness in unifying Germany. This event was dividing because Austria further divided itself from Prussia and other German states.
After Weakening Austria, Bismark went to war with France, in order to expand his territory . France realized the great power of Prussia was too much and lost the war. So a treaty was done called the treaty of Frankfurt. This event was significant because the treaty helped bring peace to France, and Prussia. This event was also significant because it involved France losing land to Prussia. This event was unifying to Germany because it helped further unify the German states because of Prussia's growing power.
After Porfirio Diaz misused his power and modified the Mexican constitution, Madero was not having it. So Francisco Madero entered the elections and ran against Diaz. This resulted in Diaz putting Madero in Jail. Though Madero later escapes and loses the election. This event was significant because it shows just how greedy Diaz was. This event was also significant because it shows that Diaz was a liar, who said he was gonna retire at the end of the second term. This event was dividing for Mexico because there were those who supported Diaz and those who supported Madero who were on different sides.
