December 2015 saw Alberta continue to flirt with the national unemployment rate, falling just 0.1 percentage points short of parity. There was a slight contraction in Alberta's Labour Force of approximately 4,000 people. December saw an increase of 10800 job vacancies over September's Statistics while the number of unemployed Albertans was reduced by 2000 individuals.
