Online classes may include video conferencing, which means people are meeting online to participate in class discussions or other activities. Teachers may utilize Zoom and/or Google Hangouts, both of which are extensions found in the Chrome Web Store. Reminder: Netiquette guidelines must be followed when participating in video conferencing. Also, in California, it is not legal to record someone else without notifying that you are recording him/her.
Students may receive an invite to a video conference through Google Calendar and/or Gmail. Both Gmail and Google Calendar should be checked frequently. Always present yourself in a professional manner when composing and/or responding to an email. Don't forget to use your gCalendar to stay organized!
