Your initial focus should be on connecting with just 2 friends who are interested in aligning with you, our mutual vision, and are willing to participate and/or make a charitable contribution through your fundraising endeavors.
Write down 5-10 individuals you already have a strong relationship with due to an aligned purpose and philosophy. Make a plan to reach out and reconnect if it’s been a while.
Afterward, list 5 new individuals you would like to create a relationship with that will become mutually advantageous. Your social media friends is an ideal place to begin.
Assist your friends. If you have a friend that is finding it difficult to approach their friends, and you have additional friends interested in participating, consider introducing them to a friend of yours. It's a win-win.
REMEMBER: You Never Campaign Alone. Your Friends, as Well as Their Friends, Are Always a Part of Your Expanding Fundraising Campaign Team.
