Over the years, scientists have discovered that long duration of space flights, prolongs recovery of heart muscle and that micro-gravity affects the body's balancing mechanisms. (Nasa, 2019)
Bio-Monitor simplifies the process by combining multiple devices into a wireless garment that records vital sign data. The garment monitors: pulse and electrical activity of the heart, blood pressure, breathing rate and volume, skin temperature, blood oxygen saturation & physical activity levels. (CSA, 2018)
