The Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) implemented Agriculture and Irrigation projects in 17 countries.
Partner countries include: Armenia, El Salvador, Georgia, Honduras, Indonesia, Moldova, Nicaragua, Burkina Faso, Cabo Verde I, Ghana, Madagascar, Mali, Morocco, Mozambique, Namibia, Niger, and Senegal.
Land Under Improvement
MCC has improved irrigation for over 200,000 hectares of land. This is approximately 787 sq. miles or roughly the size of Jacksonville, FL (the largest mainland city in the United States).
From 2004 to 2019, MCC has trained over 400,000 farmers in 14 countries on improved production techniques and technologies.
