Sketch out 3-4 Keith Haring figures on your paper.
Outline the characters in sharpie to make them pop.
Use a ruler to draw thick and thin vertical and horizontal lines for a Piet Mondrian style background with squares and rectangles of different sizes.
Avoid drawing lines throught the figures in the foreground. Add smaller Keith Haring figures in the background if you would like to create perspective.
Use bright colored pencils to color in the characters, some may want to be left white. Remember to add the lines to illustrate
motion just like the Keith Haring examples.
Color in only a select few squares and rectangles with
only primary colors. Use watercolor paint or colored pencil.
