Get What You Want
on your goal
down your goal
Making This Year's Resolution Stick
reaching your goal
to achieve your goal
for what you already have
If you can see it ... you can achieve it!
Be clear about what you want, and focus only on that. Begin to replace negative thinking with thoughts of achieving your goal. But make no mistake, this will require a ton of awareness and diligence. Now strike a pose and say, cheese!
Write out exactly what you want. Write it in a journal, on post-it notes, or in red lipstick on the bathroom mirror. Just write it down. Then read it at least once before bed, and again right after you wake up. Or ... every time you look in the mirror.
Do something each day that brings you closer to your goal. The act of working toward something you want will often diminish any feelings of fear and doubt. And keep track of your progress. Duh!
Close your eyes, relax all your muscles, breathe deep, and imagine what it will feel like once you achieve your goal. Be detailed, and really FEEL how your life will be different in every possible way. If you can't get excited, maybe you need a new goal.
