The change this year is our strategy on how to tackle the requirements of CAS. With Miss Katia Al Talas the coordinator,
Students have been attacking one topic, GREENHOUSE CAS and all efforts have been focused on different parts of this production. The end result will be a green market at which all CAS products will be sold.
The school has built a greenhouse at the back where students weekly take care of plants and crops. These will be harvested and sold. The products have a team working on the logo and marketing of items. Another part is focused on pricing and profit. Other students take pictures on a weekly basis to show the progress.
Students are working in the art rooms on recyclable creations and ceramics. Drama students are practicing a homemade production with music students supporting the cast. All of this will come together in May at the GREEN MARKET. It seems to be a great idea to integrate all aspects of CAS with something for everyone. This is the spirit of the IBDP and we are proud to be part of this adventure.
