Prisons have four major purposes. These purposes are retribution, incapacitation, deterrence and rehabilitation.
our prison merged all of those concepts and organized them in a way that would benefit the society. our prisons aim is not to make the prisoners feel guilty or just torture them. we aim to rehabilitate our criminals in a smart way but still punish them for whatever crime they committed.
our correctional prison system is based on 3 phases. the first phases is where we provide a psychologist or a social worker that would be responsible for this specific ''criminal''. they target their inner feelings and their ''psychotic'' side. they try to reach them mentally and emotionally and help as much as possible.
the second phase is where we put the prisoners under so much pressure and in severely harsh conditions in order for them to be punished and this vary's from one prisoner to another depending on the case. when the prisoner knows the right from wrong and knows that he wants help in order to change, we offer them help by transferring them to the third phase.
the third phase is whats called as the supervision 180 phase. we put the prisoners in a secured, outside world-like environment. which includes a variety of facilities from football fields to art and music rooms for prisoners to discover new talents and hobbies. we work on showing the prisoners whats it like to be free in a world free of cruelty and violence. we provide them with whatever entertainment mean they desire. we supervise them and watch their moves 24/7, after noticing a difference in their attitude, we make them do a final test and then decide whether or not to free them.
our main goal was to create a system that would actually cause some change in the prisoners and be beneficial. our 3 phases system is really working and we can notice the change. we wanted to make their prison experience good and benefiting for the long run. people who are imprisoned deserve second chances because they're human beings after all.
