The beginning of cheese in France started out in a very interesting way. There were priests, then there was cheese. Apparently, the monks took great pride in cheese, being creative and optimistic. According to one of the articles I read about, French cheese has improved greatly to this day because of the work of the refining of the milk and the extracting of the curd. Because of the way the French cheese started, it has become one of the most important parts of the French cuisine. It has great meaning.

Tomme de Savoie is a variety of Tomme cheese from Savoy in the French Alps. Tomme de Savoie dates back to ancient history.

I went to a local restaurant and ordered a cheese board for inspiration to make my own. Then I went to Wegmans grocery store and made my own Cheese board with Brie and other French Cheese's. Here was the result of both experiences!
