A timeline of Bob Probert's journey
On June 5th, 1955, Bob Probert was born in Windsor Ontario.
Bob's problems with alcohol began, and having "a couple beers" became a regular thing.
On November 6th, Bob made the NHL, playing with the Detroit Red Wings.
Bob was arrested for impaired driving in Windsor on April 4th, this was the start of his derailing.
On July 1st, despite having cold feet, Bob marries his fiancee Dani.
Bob crashes his motorcycle in Michigan and is found with alcohol and cocaine in his system, 5 days later he is let go by the Red Wings. Three days to follow, Bob signed with the Chicago Blackhawks.
In January 1995, Dani came out of the bathroom with a pregnancy test that read positive.
In the summer of 2005 Bob announced his retirement.
In 2007 after Bob speaks about his family at Steve Yzerman's retirement ceremony and visits troops in Afghanistan, he realizes the importance of his family and vows to clean up his act.
On July 5th, 2010, Bob suffered a heart attack and dies while boating on Lake St. Clair with his family.
