Steve Jobs is raised in Northern California by his adopted parents. The location of his upbringing benefitted him tremendousley as he was in the middle of a booming tech area. The fence pictured above represents a valuable lesson Steve's dad taught him, which was to put as much effort in the back of the fence where no one can see it as you do to the front where it is front and center.
Steve worked for Atari for a while, where he was unliked by many of the people there as he smelled bad, was rude, and was just not a great person to be around. After his time there he left to India for seven months where he learned how valuable simplicity is, which later shows up in his Apple products.
The Beginning of Apple
Steve Jobs was eventually kicked out of Apple, and was forced to find something else to do. He purchased the company Pixar from George Lucas for $5 million, whcih eventually made im a billionare.
Steve Wozniak spent $13 of his own money to invest in Apple. He worked primarily on the code and programming while Jobs worked on the design aspect. A huge success, Jobs was worth $50 million at age 25
As Apple began to grow, so did Steve Job's ego. He was treating most of his employees disrespectfully, and even refused to give up stock for some people that were critical to Apples success but were never appropriatly compensated.
Without Job's guidance, Apple struggled and went bankrupt before letting Jobs back in to help things out. He created a new campaign titled "Think different" for them.
In 2007, Apple unveiled the iPhone, which revolutionized the phone game because competitors like Microsoft and Sony did not make both software and hardware.
During the unveiling of the iPhone 3, Jobs was extremely frail which caught the attention of many and was the topic of discussion more so than the actual iPhone itself. This got him in some trouble since Apple is a publicly traded company, so not disclosing his cancer was not allowed. He spent the next two and a half years doing what he loved, which was working on the iPhone and iPad, before eventually dying.
