You MUST complete the following PRIOR to your workshop:
Review in detail the new CPoCUS CORE Curriculum and watch all the of the associated videos!
This is the most important preparation you can do to prepare for your workshop and it is essential that you know this material very well PRIOR to the start of your course!
Review positive images and clips.
The recommended website that you can use is PoCUS Atlas .
Remember, you only need to review images/videos relevant to the CORE indications and findings. These include: subxiphoid cardiac views showing normal cardiac contractility, cardiac standstill OR pericardial effusions, aortic views showing AAAs or normal aortas, abdominal (FAST) views showing free intraperitoneal fluid in the RUQ, LUQ or pelvis, first trimester views (both abdominal and transvaginal) showing intrauterine pregnancies and ectopic pregnancies (including free pelvic fluid)-, lung views showing lung sliding, no lung sliding, lung pulse, comet tails, lung points and pleural effusions (including the spine sign).
Examples of ALL of these images and video clips can also be easily found online using Google images and YouTube.
