Acupuncture is the insertion of very thin needles through your skin at specific points on your body to improve your mental and physical health.
Like other traditional medicine, acupuncture can relieve stress and anxiety, making a person feel relaxed and unbothered. It gives a big positive impact on your health, and are rarely any side effects.
Acupuncture originated in ancient China around 100 BC. During the time, instead of long needles, the Chinese used stones and long sharp bones to preform the treatment. As time progressed, China upgraded to bamboo sticks, and then eventually needles.
Many people seek acupuncture treatment to relieve chronic back pain. It also helps greatly with anxiety, stress, depression, and chronic fatigue. However, it is also used to help with other things about your body such as menstrual pain, infertility, arthritis, migraines, and in some cases, certain allergies.
