Why is Cultural Awareness Important?
Question: What do Donnald Trump and the Dog have in common?
Answer: They are both scared of the unknown... What happens when you aren't scared of difference?
Racism and Prejudice comes from a place of ignorance, people aren't born racist- they are a product of their environment.
If somebody is never exposed to any culture other then their own and is surrounded with people who are uneducated on other cultures how are they to know any better? we are inherently afraid of the unknown.
This is why cross cultural awareness and education is important.
