Site Leadership Profiles
Scott Weimer also presented the leadership training and support that has been taking place for site and district level administrators. Part of that training included completing leadership profiles using Strengths Finder 2.0 and Mr. Weimer presented the Board with the results. District leadership profiles are expected to be presented in February. The leadership style results are intended to help teams recognize and work to their individual strengths. The report also examined how long administrators throughout the district have been in their current position and with the district. Reports
Assistant Superintendent of Business & Student Services, Scott Weimer, presented the 2017 CAASPP results to the Board. Mr. Weimer articulated that the results are no longer the sole measure by the state; rather they are a part of one aspect of our College & Career Readiness Indicator. Overall, MUHSD scores were slightly higher than the county average, but sligherly lower than the state average. Mr. Weimer did point out that CAASPP scores are cumulative assessments of students' entire school learning and shared that sites are looking closely at the scores of incoming 8th graders to create plans to best support their incoming students' needs.
