Autism is a neurological disorder, which impairs the parts of a brain that controls sociality, and interaction, along with language, and communication. Although signs usually become apparent in early childhood, it may go unrecognized for years.
What is Autism?
Causes of Autism
Vaccines are a hot
topic, relating to the arguments of whether or not they cause autism. My opinion is that they do, depending on when the child receives them.
Genetics is another cause of autism. They can be passed down through generations of a family, thereby being hereditary.
Environmental factors like viral infections or pollution may also cause Autism in a child.
Symptoms of Autism
There are a ton of symptoms, so I will just include 3.
Huge language delay. Maybe the child will be non-verbal and never speak, at all. Or maybe the child will say a few words.
Repetitive movements or actions, such as rocking, laughing, or clapping
Limited interest, and inability to focus
Is there a cure?
No, but there are treatments for some of the symptoms, like CBD oil worked for my brother's inability to focus. It also made him calm down a bit. After school, he would go to sleep, instead of running around and bouncing off of the walls.
