Intervals of increase and decrease are the domain of a function where its value is getting larger or smaller, respectively.
The maximum value of a function is the place where a function reaches its highest point, or vertex, on a graph. The minimum value of a function is the place where the graph has a vertex at its lowest point.
When you have the equation y = ax^2 + bx + c.
The zero of a function is any replacement for the variable that will produce an answer of zero.
