As soon as the viewer sets eyes on this poster, they can tell straight away that the film is set on a plane. This is partly due to the exit sign and the windows, but the big give away is the oxygen masks. When the cabin depressurises, oxygen masks automatically drop down; so clearly in the scene that the shot has been taken from, the cabin has depressurised. However, this means that the viewer can recognise just how intense this film is, because depressurisation only occurs when something traumatic happens to the plane i.e. the engine exploding or a window breaking. All of these put the lives of the passengers in danger and this situation can be a very frightening experience.
