Systematic- School wide, common time given during the day, each teacher will work with one strategy with students that are in need of the skill according to state testing.
Practical- Interventions used are pulled from available materials.
Effective- At beginning of year students take state tests. The scores of students determines what intervention they need. State tests are given in the winter and spring as well. Scores are reviewed after each test to determine need. Interventions and student progress is reviewed by PLC to determine if student needs to exit, maintain or change of intervention is needed.

Essential- We look at students needs in the common core. Interventions are planned with power standards in mind.
Directive- Encore time is part of the school day. The principal has planned the schedule so that each grade level will have necessary resources a support personnel available.
