Police Brutality mainly occur on places with low-income. In most cases, people of color and their background ethnicity are targeted the most, whether if they're innocent or an unarmed suspect. Sometimes those who are mentally disturbed are often injured or face fatal weapons
Police-involved homicide among African Americans / others of ethnicity are also greater in metropolitan areas. Some officers play a role in upholding and leading executions. They are more alert and aim for the colored individuals.
Excessive use of physical force towards suspects with no intentions of harming the officer is unfair and unjust, concluding to being unreported and unprosecuted. Also, police departments fail to punish their people with major consequences.
Researchers say this behavior is an individual problem. These people abuse their power, they're only supposed to use their weapons when the situation is very life threatening.
Some law enforcement officials defend their arguments, claiming; "You can't tell what's in an officer's heart when these killings happen."
The behavior that these police has caused to the suspect is ignored, because they are able to bypass the law due to their badge.
Some officers neglect serious crimes, that lead to more crimes, yet they devote more of their time on non-life threatening citizens.
In order to prevent unnecessary situations to keep happening, the police who commits the crime should work on their mentality (Therapist / etc.) in order to get to the root of the problem. If one's destination to fulfilling their their needs is not met, more deaths will happen in the future. If this does not work, cameras should be very useful at this scenario.
