Black students are 3x more likely to be suspended or expelled than white students.
Equal opportunity accross the races does not exist
Minority race schools are generally underfunded compared to white schools.
This distribution is not due to racism or white superiority, but to the school funding system we have.
Why do minority schools get less funding? Because of the low standardized tests and low property values that determine the amount of funding the school gets.
Why do the students do bad on the tests? Because their teachers aren't as "good" as most other teachers.
Why do these schools have bad teachers? Well, because of the lack of funding, it's a loophole.
Chance of Going to College
Because of the high school funding anomolies, students who go to richer schools are much more likely to get into college. Poor schools (generally in black or latino neighborhoods) will not produce as many college-bound students.
Race is not directly related to post-high school education level!
It's whether you go to a good school or not that determines whether you go to college or not!
