Gas Laws
As the diver descends down into the water the pressure of the water increases,
Boyle's law the divers body and equipment expands to occupy a greater volume
Henry's Law-Higher pressure, higher absorbance of oxygen in the body.
Dalton law-Our bodies absorb the gases as the pressure increases
Charles Law- This explains why the pressure of the oxygen tanks decrease and increase according if you filled it indoor or outdoors.
How does Training effect the gas intake.
The more the diver trains and the better they prep the deeper they can go because of there sensitivity to the pressure increase when getting deeper in the water
Risks
Barotrauma
-Physical Trauma
The "bends"
-Decompression
Nitrogen Narcosis
-Hallucinations, fatigue, loss of memory
Oxygen Toxicity
-taking in to much oxygen
Gas Embolisms
-Blood vessel blockages from oxygen increase and decrease
