British control over the world
The British in the early stages.
Britain had early handholds on the countries. This is why the East india trading company was so prominent because the british exploited resources that weren't their own.
In China they were imperializing in the country in attempt to get more of what they had, like tea.
The British territories
The British had territory and control over many lands. two of which were india and china. They had a little control over other lands but these two are the most important to the British. Others that happened to gain their independence,(Possibly not note in this module) was the Canadians, New Zealand and Australia.
The Indian independence movement
This started and lasted around 200 years, when Ghandi started to advocate for independence. So later, he and his followers were put in prison, later released and kept fighting for independence, which was later won.
China already was an independent country but, they did get rid of it's influence. They had wany rebellions, one being the boxer rebellion. Most of the steps they took were in retaliation to being exploited such as the opium wars.
Conditons the countries are in.
The condition these countries are in right now and after they left british influence was very good.
India, now that their rsources weren't being depleted wee doing well
China was also doing well because of the opium that was no longer taunting them.
Overall the changes and the fights against british independence were very great who were under the british imperialism. In india the changes were for the better, because it was a parasitic relationship between them.
China had less of a greatness to the british leaving. When they left, their economy dropped because of less tea buying, however the trade off was that they had no more of their influence.
