First day of the busy semester ahead! Picked up box with training session supplies with the Dog Show Director.
First executive meeting of 2019, and orientation for owners and handlers in my training section. Answered questions about dog show, introduced myself and went over important safety rules.

started to teach their dogs how to do recalls. This can be a safety issue when done off leash so made sure the dogs were prepared to do it off leash by doing it on leash at first.

Helped Old Mac's Donations Assistant ask for and pick up booklets and stickers to alleviate some pressure.

Executive meeting, last dog training session and in-class trick competition. Answered final questions before show day and helped calm the handlers nerves.
Appreciation dinner for the donors, alumni, and executives.
Made finishing touches on dog blurbs (to be read by the MCs) that had been sent throughout the week.
First day of Open House! Helped with crowd control/animal safety and answered questions at Old Mac's farm, then set up for dog show. Had to troubleshoot regarding the mats since they were of unequal lengths.
Dog Show day! Picked up prizes and made some finishing touches with set up. Kept the dogs and handlers in Ring 2 in order throughout the day, manned the crowd, updated officers and handed out prizes. Cleaned everything back up at the end of the day.
Executive debrief about Open House weekend. Made some suggestions for next year regarding club information and dog safety since both dogs and people were using the same entrance.
