Year in Review: Part 2
Karmê Chöling 2019
The Summer and Autumn brought tremendous life to the land!
Gorgeous new cedar flooring warms the study environment. Expanded bookshelves allow access to more of our amazing collection.
Digital portals allow easier access to our expansive (and expanding) audio and video archives!
Hope Martin led a powerful Embodied Listening Retreat!
Sometimes working here in the busy summer months can be a bit of a circus, especially when the staff celebrates a birthday...or just finishing another big program!
The Vidadhara is 'always haunting us, along with the Dralas'. With a 'farm to table' supply of beautiful flowers, we remain a great place to practice the art of Ikebana!
Lineage in Bloom
QiGong intensives, our Summer Arts Half Dathün, Kyudo Assembly with Shibata Sensei, and deep practice of Scorpion Seal 10 participants were but a few of the major highlights of mid-summer!
We wouldn't be possible without our supportive neighbors and friends!
Sangha and Community
When Ven. Anam Thubten Rinpoche gave a public talk in nearby St. Johnsbury, we couldn't resist inviting him for a visit and tour!
Visiting Dharma Friends
What would summer be without Family Camp? Nearly 200 families practicing, learning, connecting with the land and each other. Always the highlight of the summer!
Autumn meant more magical retreats, tents and leaves coming down, and our annual Harvest of Peace celebration!
Harvesting Peace (and juniper!)
In October, we bid farewell to Executive Director, Myra Woodruff. Myra's exertion, patience and warmth sustained us during a challenging era. E Ma Ho!!!
Autumn Leaves, Winds of Change
Betsy Railla was installed as our new Executive Director as of Nov. 1.
