SEPTEMBER 11, 2016
After a leisurely morning on your own in Anchorage, you will need to proceed back to the Anchorage International Airport to check in for your domestic flight to King Salmon. Please be sure to arrive to the airport at least 1.5 hours prior to your scheduled departure. You will check in for your flight with Pen Air which is the domestic affiliate of Alaska Airlines.
12:45 PM Pickup from lobby of Sheraton Anchorage Hotel & Spa.
Depart Anchorage (ANC) for King Salmon Airport (AKN) on Pen Air (Alaska) flight #3205. Arrive into King Salmon at 3:45 PM. Estimated flight time is 1 hour and 5 minutes.
Upon arrival into King Salmon, you will be met by the Enchanted Lake Lodge staff. The staff will be waiting to transfer you and your gear to the float planes for the flight to the lodge. After everything is loaded into the float plane, you will fly to Enchanted Lake. Enjoy the flight!
Upon arrival at Enchanted Lake Lodge, you will have a general briefing about lodge operations. You will be shown to the owner's cottage and issued any rental gear and license you will be needing for the trip.
If you have any questions on the program or your itinerary, please be sure to speak with the lodge manager Daren Erickson.
Drinks and appetizers will be served in the lodge lounge, followed by dinner in the lodge’s main dining room.
SEPTEMBER 12-17, 2016
These will be your six (6) full days at Enchanted Lake Lodge. Every morning after breakfast, you will load up the float plane and fly to your designated fishery for the day (weather
dependent). It is imperative that you are on time for your flight each morning! (The location and departure time will be decided the evening before for each fishing day).
Please be sure to communicate your expectations and any fishing requests you have each day with your guides and pilots during your stay. Ask them what they think will be the best fishing options for the day, and then make any requests you may have.
Upon arrival back at the lodge each afternoon, you can relax before dinner, enjoy the lodge sauna and grounds, or relax and cocktail in the lounge. Breakfast and dinner will be served in the main lodge, and lunch will be on the water with your guide or back at the lodge depending on your itinerary.
If you need any additional rod/reel setups or gear, your guides and pilots will be happy to assist you. Each evening, you will go over the options for the following day with Daren and his team. Please let them know if you have any special requests for the following day, and they will do their best to accommodate them.
On your last evening at the lodge, you may want to pack your gear for the following day’s departure. You will also want to confirm your transfer time back to King Salmon for the following day. Daren will be happy to assist you with check-out procedures, and will also be happy to help with questions about gratuities, etc.

Humpy’s is a fun bar serving pub fare, with a great scotch and micro-brew selection. This is a mixed age crowd, leaning toward younger.

Club Paris has the best steak in Anchorage. It’s a dark, little, very local hangout with a superb menu and wine list.
Simon and Seafort’s Saloon & Grill

This is a very popular bar with a good restaurant attached. It’s crowded but worth the wait. The window seats offer a great view of Cook Inlet.

A great pizza joint and pub that should be on every traveler’s list of places to stop for a slice! Great selection of local brews, and a diverse selection of pizza, salads and sandwiches.
