Inspiration for female artist
This video is what I used for inspiration to come up with my female artists costume.
This outfit could be used as a starting point as it fits with the article of my magazine on the artists image. This is not a stereotypical outfit for a female and helps with the unique message my magazine is attempting to portray of being yourself. However my artists will have to wear something without sleeves to showcase her tattoos as they are the main thing that rebels against the music industry's idea of what a female RnB artist is supposed to look like.
More inspiration for my female artists outfit.
Costume for female model one
Black t-shirt with stripes giving the illusion of it being a baseball jersey. This shows that my artist rebels against the stereotypical view of a female as society doesn't believe girls can like sport. She represents the modern era.
Black jumper wrapped around the waist symbolic of her care free and relaxed attitude
Red Nike Air max symbolic of her fierceness and passion for her beliefs.
She will have big hoop earrings to represent the genre
Inspiration for male artists.
P Diddy and B2K in Bump, bump, bump video.
Costume for male models
Similar top to female artist to represent the unity of the group and their unbreakable bond.
Grey tracksuit bottoms to represent his relaxed attitude. Similar to the first models symbolism of the jumper.
Model will wear black trainers instead of grey so that he matches model one.
The second male artist will be wearing an identical outfit but will also have a bomber jacket, which is inspired by the youtube clip in the previous slide, as well as gold chains.
