In 1903, he established the Ford Motor Company, and five years later the company rolled out the first Model T.

In 1891, Ford joined Edison Illuminating Company and got promoted as a Chief Engineer in 1893.

Orville (August 19, 1871 – January 30, 1948) and Wilbur (April 16, 1867 – May 30, 1912)
On December 17, 1903, Wilbur and Orville Wright made four brief flights at Kitty Hawk with their first powered aircraft. The Wright brothers had invented the first successful airplane.

The father was a bishop in the United Brethren Church and both parents encouraged their children in education and practical matters
Wilbur was the eldest and the dominant brother. He was the intellectual and was serious, quiet, controlled and deliberate.
Their interest in bicycles moved on to aviation in the 1890s by the German engineer Otto Lilienthal - the 'Glider King'. His glider flights attracted world wide coverage and his exploits inspired Orville and Wilbur.

Elijah J. McCoy was a Canadian born African American inventor and engineer who was notable for his 57 U.S. patents, most having to do with the lubrication of steam engines.

Elijah travel to Scotland to get a job as an engineer and had a hard time finding a job because of his race
While the majority of his inventions related to lubrication systems, he also developed designs for an ironing board, a lawn sprinkler, and other machines.
After studying the inefficiencies inherent in the existing system of oiling axles, McCoy invented a lubricating cup that distributed oil evenly over the engine's moving parts.
McCoy formed the Elijah McCoy Manufacturing Company to produce lubricators bearing his name.

Ross helped write NASA’s Planetary Flight Handbook, the agency’s space travel guide, and contributed to planning for flights to Mars.
Ross was asked by Lockheed to join its top-secret think tank “Skunk Works,” which assisted NASA in its aerospace engineering.
After graduating from Northeastern State College in 1928 with a math degree, Ross became a high school teacher for several years.

in late 1939 Leo wrote the letter for Albert Einstein's signature that resulted in the Manhattan Project that built the atomic bomb.
He became a U.S. citizen in 1943.
After World War II he promoted the peaceful uses of atomic energy and founded the Council for a Liveable World.
