If you're saving money and living better, then you're shopping at Wal-mart.
If you don't shop at Wal-mart, then you're not saving money and living better.
If you don't save money and live better, then you aren't shopping at Wal-mart..
You shop at Wal-mart if and only if you want to save money and live better.

The conditional statement for Wal-mart's slogan is false. it is false because many people could believe that they are saving money, but a large amount could agree that they aren't living better. The converse statement for this slogan is also false because you can agree that if you shop at Kroger with coupons you'll be saving more money then shopping at Wal-mart. The inverse statement is false. It is considered false because if you're not shopping at Wal-mart then you could be shopping at Aldi and still be saving money. The contrapositive statement is also false because if you aren't saving money then you could be buying something from Wal-mart that was expensive. The advertisers are trying to trick the consumers that if they shop at Wal-mart they will, in fact, be saving money and that would result in the consumers living better. This slogan is unrealistic because there are other stores where you could save money as well. This slogan does catch my interest because I would want to know why I am saving more money at Wal-mart then at Kroger or H-E-B. I think that the slogan should stay the same because when they have it worded as, "Save Money. Live Better", it gives a clear image of what they are trying to say. Many people shop at Wal-mart because it is the grocery store that is seen as the cheapest and they know this because the slogan is stating what they know. I do shop at Wal-mart for some items, but I know I could find better deals in other stores. For example, a pack of 6 granola bars at Wal-mart could cost about 4 between 5 dollars while a 36 pack of granola bars cost about 9 to 10 dollars at Costco.
The conditional statement for Disneyland is false because a mom with four young children who are on a sugar high will probably not consider that Disneyland is the happiest place on earth. Disneyland's slogan would be considered false in the converse statement because many people can consider a different location, the happiest place on earth. The inverse statement for Disneyland is also false. This is because if you aren't at Disneyland then you can be somewhere else that you consider the happiest place on earth. For example, you could be at Six Flags and consider that your happiest place on earth. Following this, the contrapositive statement is also false because if you don't like Disneyland and go, you could consider it the least happiest place on earth. Yes, the advertisers are trying to trick and persuade the audience that Disneyland is the happiest place on earth, so they can attract more customers. I find this slogan unrealistic because there is never a definite place that everybody can agree on and consider the happiest place on earth because everyone has different opinions. This slogan is appealing because when you hear of the happiest place on Earth you're going to want to go there and see if it truly is the happiest place on earth. Yes, many people go to Disney World believing that it's the happiest place on earth because of what the slogan says. The slogan wouldn't make me want to go to Disneyland, but it will motivate me to go more than I used to.
