- Compared to my primarily task, both my photography skills and my skills when using photoshop have improved. My photography skills have improved as i now know how to take a shot in the correct way using the right angles for a pop magazine, also doing this by using an IPhone and not a camera.
- Using Mise en Scene also helped me a lot with my photographs by using props, no verbal commincation and the correct lighting.
- Additionally, i improved my skills on photoshop as i am now able to change the brightness and contrast of my images in order to improve the way they look.
When creating my preliminary front cover i did not have enough knowledge about how to make it at a professional level.
The title on my preliminary task was created on photoshop itself due to not having awareness of dafont.com,where I created my header for my front cover page of my magazine.
The background of the preliminary cover is plain white with very basic font/text placed around it, whereas my front cover of the magazine is much more advanced with more colour and eye catching text and images.
The main image on the preliminary task is vey basic and rushed as I was not prepared to take the shot.
Compared to the front cover I created for my magazine where I had prepared and planned my photographs with a vision in my head of how I wanted the models to look
It also does not include a barcode making it look a lot less professional.
Yes, I have learnt to manage my time and meet deadlines throughout the year by setting myself targets that I knew I was able to achieve.
Spreading my work over a number of weeks enable me to keep track of the work that I had to do and not confuse myself and take on too much. This then improved the quality of my work as a result.
I have learnt to organise myself effectively by improving on my time management and ensuring I take on small tasks at a time and not overload myself.
