One of our district's goals is to prepare students for life by training them in 3 areas: Ready to Learn, Ready to Lead, Ready for Life. We do this through the use of Leader Profile Attributes. Throughout this class, I kept seeing the connections between the multicultural texts I read and the attributes we were studying and teaching at school. I decided that one way to encourage both the character training and the incorporation of more inclusive literature was to connect the two concepts. Thus, this presentation was born.
