GotSoccer has recently integrated with SafeSport, which allows coaches and managers to complete the requisite certification from within their GotSoccer coach or manager account.  You must be logged into your individual coach/manager account to access the courses, they are not available through the team account. 

Follow the steps to register for SafeSport training at no cost. Please be aware that it can take approximately 1-1.5 hour to watch the videos and complete the testing. The refresher courses take approximately 15 minutes.

STEP 1: Click on link -----> https://www.safesport.org/  (course works the best on Chrome and FireFox Browser) 

STEP 3: Enter required fields and click "Next" (NOTE: Enter your information using the same exact information you use for your GotSoccer account)

STEP 4: 

STEP 6: Click the "TRAINED ICON" to begin SafeSport Training Module.

STEP 9: Once you have finished the course, download the PDF of your SafeSport certificate and email a copy to [email protected]

STEP 2:

• If you already have an account ---->Click on SIGN IN (it's best to save your login credentials) Then skip to Step 6.
• If you do not have an account ---->Click on REGISTER to create a new account, then go to next step.

• Upload Profile Photo
• Enter required personal data 
• Enter Primary Position (Manager is a Volunteer)
• Click the + to Add Membership
  • In the Organization dropdown menu, select U.S. Soccer
  • Enter the Access Code: YC3E-6P5G-YYIL-CS2M
  • Click SAVE

STEP 5:  You will be redirected to login: Enter login credentials (it's best to save your login credentials as you can take breaks during the course)

• Select a language
• To proceed with the course, press the arrow on the right. This is an interactive program; to move forward you must interact with ALL the content

• Sexual Misconduct Awareness Education
• Mandatory Reporting
• Emotional and Physical Misconduct
  

Your SafeSport Trained Certification is valid for 1 year. A refresher course will be offered every year to maintain your certification. 

STEP 8: NOTE: ALL THREE training modules must be completed to be allowed to coach or volunteer
