Art+Charity merges the capacity of art to unite people and express onelsef, with the purpose of helping the underpriviledged. We do this with the help of various multi-talented artists, who give their expertise and time to accomplish these different A+C projects.
Combining efforts between different schools and artists, Art+Charity intends to raise funds, awarareness, and cultural consciousness in Mexico through art. This is done by combining the efforts of accomplished and humane artists, with a well thought out project, to guide the help and funds where they need to be.
This time, A+C went to the Westhill Institute campus Cárpatos, and taught a very unique and interesting method of creating art: the Monotype. The children got to see professional artists make a piece, which they, in turn, got to make.
By making the link between different embassies, companies, individuals and charities, we make sure that the help provided goes towards the most needed in a completely transparent and well organized manner.
We have many distinct projects and programs that aim towards different things but have one goal in common: to help the underpriviledged.
Posters were made to make the event more interesting
Interest was bigger than expected, with 120 children enrolled for the program
The students had their master class with the artists and produced a piece of their own with the new technique, which they got to take home
These funds were destined towards the creation and improvement of different programs aimed to help the charities they support
