African Americans begin to have sit-ins as a form of peaceful protest.
President Johnson signs the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which prohibits discrimination no matter race, gender, or religion.
Emergence: pople began to realize that a human is a human, no matter what. No matter the race, people deserve their chance at a happy life.
Coalescence: The civil rights movement caught traction from it's peaceful protests, it's look in basic constitutional rights. and MLK Jr really helped it along with his methods.
Bureaucratization: MLK Jr helped found organizations that gained the support of many political leaders, this gave him an edge in his movement.
Decline: The Civil Rights Movement in total has yet to decline, people are still being treated unfairly in America, but we're working on it.
