The way you present your products online can have a significant impact on sales, and the quality of your photo is as necessary as the quality of your product. Product photos should be taken preferably in natural light with little to no distracting backgrounds. Sometimes 2-3 photos may be best to help show the product. Ensure the photos are in focus, and are not blurry or poorly lit.
For services or custom products, show examples of your past work to help educate buyers on what they can expect by choosing to work with you.
Write Product Descriptions
Combine conversational paragraph-long descriptions that engage, as well as quick bullet-points on the need-to-know specs for any shoppers that are just scanning the page.
These can be the same as you offer offline, or may be a bit more if you would like to include free shipping for your online items.
If you've never shipped products before, determine your shipping costs by exploring different carriers UPS, USPS, FedEx their rates and packaging options that work best for your type of products.
