Currently I am 18 years old. My birthday is August 1st. I am a leo (if you're into astrology... I'm not). I am diagnosed with ADD, dyslexia, and a auditory processing disorder. I WAS also diagnosed with high functioning autism at one point. In general, it takes patience to work with me. I am pretty slow when it comes to the start up of a project
I would describe myself as a realistic idealist. I usually like to reach for the unachievable goals and ideals. But I still know that reaching for those goals will often leave me disappointed because the world usually doesn't have any patience for ideals and such.
My personal view on the US and its politics. My belief is that the two party system that we have is unacceptable. I believe that having only two parties with the majority of power will create an unpleasant fissure in our society. Especially now when our society is so aggressive towards anyone with different beliefs than their own.
Me in general.

Influential People in My Life
My moms side of the family has some of the most influential people in my life. They were the family I spent the most time with. My cousins are probably the most influential when it came to developing my social skills.
My brother. Honestly he didn't add many positive things in my life either. My childhood consists of memories of him beating me up. But I guess that did make me stronger.
My dad. Bar none. He is the only in my life that has supported me my entire life. He works really hard everyday (doctor) even though he is 64. He blow my mind.
My mother. Not for a good reason though. I suffered certain abuse and neglect while she was in my life. That time with her formed certain kinks in my personality.
My step-mom. She is kinda harsh but tries to be nice and tries not to yell at me when she wants to. She had a more authoritarian parenting style with her kids so her being lenient with is a bit of a adaptation. But that harshness kinda helped me mature.
Video games: I basically grew up playing them. Haven't stopped.
Listening to music: Helps me drown out my thoughts and keeps me out of my head. Also calms me down.
Studying personality and Psychology: I like to read about multiple articles about many different things related to those subjects. They are fascinating to me.
Studying philosophy: I had an existential crisis Sophomore year. Looking into different philosophies gave me comfort and infrastructure. I have been looking at many different ideas and beliefs ever since.
