Type 1 Diabetes: genetic defect that is passed from one generation to the next.
Type 2 Diabetes is strongly associated with obesity and is a result of insulin resistance and insulin deficiency. (Endocrine system)
The Immune response is also much lower in people who have diabetes so they are more susceptible to getting infections that could result in the loss of a limb.

Symptoms: For Insipidus diabetes include excessive thirst and excretion of large volumes of urine. This results in about 3 to 6 liters each day. (Excretory system)

Symptoms: For Mellitus diabetes is feeling tired and sick, frequent urination, excessive thirst, excessive hunger, and weight loss.
