Polio is a contagious viral illness spread by contaminated food or water from one person to another. Polio can infect a person's brain and spinal cord which causes paralysis, making parts of the body hard to move or move at all and causes death.
THERE IS NO CURE
There is no known cure for polio. But some treatments may help with pain and make it easier to walk or move.

Polio is very rarely found in the U.S.Polio was mostly found in theses 4 countries back in 2010.
Polio is also still present in Pakistan today. although it is not as bad as Afghanistan.
Polio is still around parts of Africa but mostly in countries like Niger.
Out of all of these four countries India has the smallest precentage.
Even though there is no known cure for polio you can still prevent polio by taking Polio vaccine
Some self treatments you can take are naproxen, aspirin, ibuprofen, and a pain reliver acetaminophenf.
Others are bed rest, portable venatlors
Polio may cause people to experience experience fatigue feeling, faint fever, or wasting away for the whole body. Most of many times Polio causes muscle weakness, loss of muscles, or muscle quiver. Headaches, nausea, and slow growth are also common when dealing with Polio. In sevure cases od Poilo can causes difficulty breathing and sometimes death
Some symptoms are fever, sore throat, headache, vomiting, fatigue, back pain or stiffness, neck, arms, or leg pain or stiffness, muscle weakness or tenderness, meningitis.
